TazerLast weekend I saw something at Larry’s Pistol & Pawn Shop that sparked my interest…

The occasion was our 15th anniversary and I was looking for a little something extra for my wife Julie. What I came across was a 100,000-volt, pocket/purse- sized tazer.

The effects of the tazer were supposed to be short lived, with no long-term adverse affect on your assailant, allowing her adequate time to retreat to safety….??

WAY TOO COOL! Long story short, I bought the device and brought it home, loaded two AAA batteries in the darn thing, and pushed the button. Nothing! I was disappointed. I learned, however, that if I pushed the button and pressed it against a metal surface at the same time, I’d get the blue arc of electricity darting back and forth between the prongs. (more…)

Just a word to those who have not yet heard, this site has been hacked. I am correcting the issue. Please be patient with me and know that I would never attempt to hijack, infect, or otherwise exploit my readers. Once the issue has been corrected, I will post more.

SuccessI want people to know who I am. Plain and simple.

I am not looking for fame, actually quite the opposite. I have no want for that type of life. I am not looking for money (although, I would not turn it down). I do not want a “following” or anything comparable. I am not looking for glory. I simply want people to say “Hey, I know that guy” when someone mentions either me, something I have done, or a topic I am related to. I think that is what most people want. To be known/remembered.
