Get Noticed in Your Field: Make Them Know Your Name
Feb 20th
I want people to know who I am. Plain and simple.
I am not looking for fame, actually quite the opposite. I have no want for that type of life. I am not looking for money (although, I would not turn it down). I do not want a “following” or anything comparable. I am not looking for glory. I simply want people to say “Hey, I know that guy” when someone mentions either me, something I have done, or a topic I am related to. I think that is what most people want. To be known/remembered. Foursquare for BlackBerry Beta Gets an Update
Mar 10th
Just when I was ready to hit the rack, my friend Nan: BlackBerry Power User let me know about the newest version of the foursquare for BlackBerry Beta. So…thanks, Nan, for letting me know about the newest update; THANKS NAN, NOW I HAVE TO WRITE A NEW POST! Ha ha ha! I am starting to see double at this point — I am rather tired (thank God for spell check) — but if I didn’t post at least something, I would feel like I am letting my readers down. so, without further adieu, this is what I noticed on first glance. As you know, I released some info on some new badges for SXSW 2010 earlier today. Since then, I have done some research and have come up with some more info. Please see the updates below. The generic badges have been replaced with unconfirmed images of what the badges will look like. If you happen to earn one or more of them, please comment either below or on the main foursquare badge page. Thank you for visiting. I hope to hear from you!
A special thanks goes out to varcon for providing as much information as you did! More >

- those who use it and love it
- those who used it and hate it
- those who have never tried it
- and those who have never tried it, yet still manage to hate it More >
