When I sign in into my foursquare on my smart phone everything works perfectly until i click on the "check in" button, it takes me to a blank page and I can't check in there. why and please tell me how to fix it. Thank you.

I actually unfollowed someone long ago because my twitter was filled with "is at work", "is at the store", etc. so I too am trying to find the balance. This is one way in which "check.in" (a website that allows you to check into foursquare and gowalla and more with one checkin) isn't good in that you have to go into your settings to change where it posts as opposed to being able to do that on a case by case basis with the native apps. I find that I get less irritated by friends who at least leave an amusing comment with each checkin. It is a tough balance to find though.

Andrew R.:

... it’s definitely addictive and kind of entices me to go out and try something new ...

I completely agree. I have gone to a different place than I had planned just to get another check in. Have found some good stuff that way!!

... Im trying to get every badge I can ...

Me, too!!

... the whole cheating this really accentuates how much of a loser you are that you have to cheat at foursquare to feel better about yourself ...

I agree completely. Sometimes I am not sure if it is that they are cheating, or if they just don't understand what foursquare is for. Either way, they should either read up on the app they are trying for the first time, or stop cheating!

Thanks for visiting and commenting! Hope to hear from you again!!

Great post. I love foursquare. I got started not too long ago but it's definitely addictive and kind of entices me to go out and try something new. Im trying to get every badge I can but the whole cheating this really accentuates how much of a loser you are that you have to cheat at foursquare to feel better about yourself lol. But, hey if it works for their self-esteem... what more can I say.
.-= Andrew R.´s last blog ..ninjasteeze: by the way i hope to one day acquire every badge offered in @foursquare. look out free world, im stomping on a town near YOU! =-.
